Liberace s ex-lover claims he had six year relationship with Michael Jackson
He said: Liberace introduced me and Michael in the late 1970s. It was right around the time Thriller was coming out and Michael and I became lovers. Our relationship went on for six or seven years.
Michael was very generous too. He treated me well. Liberace and I had both undergone plastic surgery around the same time Michael underwent a nose job because he didn t think he was handsome.
We all healed together at the Liberace compound in Palm Springs. Despite being featured in the Steven Soderbergh-directed film, Thorson was only able to see it after he was bailed out of prison by a brothel owner on Sunday, while he awaits sentencing for burglary charges. Matt Damon did a great job playing me.
And he did a great job in bed with Douglas, too, Thorson joked. I needed to see Jason Bourne on top of Gordon Gekko. Despite joking about the cast, Thorson also said he thought that he was being underpaid for the film.
I didn t make much out of the movie. I own a small percentage of the film, but Hollywood is notorious for padding the bill so its shows no profit, he continued. It has been a big success, all these European companies have picked it up.
So for the filmmakers to say they haven t made a dime would be a big mistake especially with my mouth. Oscar winning film director, Steven Soderbergh, previously said that the film was not scheduled to have a theatrical release because film studios turned it down for being too gay, and it struggled to find funding. Matt Damon recently talked about undertaking an intimate romantic scene with Michael Douglas character in the film, and said that he was a wonderful kisser .
He also said that he never denied rumours of being gay because he didn t want to insult some of his friends.

Poland: Prime Minister backs down and admits opposition to civil unions is too strong
Despite slowly working towards a measure, disagreements have been many and party factions have not been able to come to a consensus on how to implement it. This week Mr Tusk said civil unions legislation could not be rushed, and expressed concern that the legislation would have to be properly worded, in order to fit with Poland s constitution. The Polish constitution protects opposite-sex marriage, and some have interpreted this as meaning that same-sex unions could not be legalised.
The worst thing that could happen would be a bill that the Constitutional Tribunal found unconstitutional, he said. Today I don t see any chances for a majority to be found in the Sejm over the next 10-15 years that would want radical solutions. I would like to live in a country where all differences enjoy respect expressed in the law, but I have to be responsible for the legal and social effects, he continued.
Last week, Poland s first gay MP Robert Biedron, who was elected to parliament in 2011, was attacked after he had attended the Warsaw Equality Parade on Saturday. Earlier this year the former President of Poland, Lech Walesa, remarked that gay politicians should be made to sit behind a wall in parliament. Mr Biedron is a member of the liberal Palikot Movement, a party which also includes Poland s only transgender MP, Anna Grodzka.
Ms Grodzka told PinkNews.co.uk that she, along with Mr Biedron, was proof that Poland was changing. I was very surprised by how many people voted for me, and that means the general situation in Poland has changed slightly, she said. US: Baltimore Pride features mass same-sex wedding
I now pronounce you married, she continued said. The ceremony was met with loud applause. Many of the couples said they had been together for decades, but felt that it was only right that they could marry in the state where they met.
The wedding s organiser, Carrietta Hiers, said of the Mayor: The support is critical. It s always, What can I do to help? What do you need?
This is the person that you should contact. She believes in equality for everyone. Nine US states, and Washington DC currently allow equal marriage, and it will become law in Rhode Island, Delaware and Minnesota in the summer.
The US state of Maryland in November 2012 became the first state to legalise equal marriage by means of a popular vote. The law came into effect on 1 January 2013. Washington and Maine also legalised equal marriage in referendums in those states on the same day.
On 6 November, voters in Minnesota voted no on Amendment 1, a constitutional amendment that would have defined marriage as being a union solely between a man and a woman. The US Supreme Court is expected to rule on two cases surround equal marriage, in the next two weeks, potentially making a groundbreaking ruling for equal marriage in the state of California, and the whole of the US. Mixed martial arts boss to fighter who linked equal marriage to incest: Leave talking to smart people
The 34-year-old San Jose native then wrote: Should siblings be allowed to marry siblings?. Dana White, the head of the UFC confirmed that Thomson would not be suspended for the comments he made on Facebook, but asserted that he did make himself look foolish through the comments, reports Examiner.com. White said: He didn t say anything negative.
He didn t say anything bad He didn t say anything against gay marriage or gay people. He just posed the question. Is it stupid?
What he put down was probably the dumbest thing I ve heard. He should probably get a hobby like finger painting, or something, and leave talking to smart people. That s probably what he should do.
That would probably be really good for him, but we don t stop people from having their own opinions. He doesn t like gay marriage that s his opinion. He didn t hurt anybody, he didn t say anything negative.
He just said that if people were able to do what they think is fun, or what makes them happy, when does it end? What he said was asinine and absolutely just the stupidest gibberish I ve ever seen in my life. He should stick to finger painting or fighting and leave the talking to smarter people.
He didn t hurt anybody. The manager of another UFC fighter who was fined $20,000 and suspended for three months for a tweet in which he referred to a fellow fighter as a fag , recently said he is not remorseful for the slur. Another fighter Fallon Fox, last month was forced to come out as transgender, following the discovery of her 2006 gender reassignment surgery by reporters.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship recently moved to suspend one of its fighters Matt Mitrione, after he referred to Fox as a lying, sick, sociopathic, disgusting freak.

Canada: Hockey player apologises after tweeting anti-gay slur about NBA player
Following the discussion with Burke, Kane tweeted an apology, which read: Just spoke with Patrick Burke + @YouCanPlayTeam and would like to sincerely apologize for a tweet where I used a homophobic term. I made a mistake and will learn from this. I apologize to anyone I offended by my tweet and this will not happen again. #YouCanPlay Burke also released a statement, saying he had looked into the use of the word further, consulting other players, and dispelling the idea that Kane did not write his own apology.
He said: Since this appears to be controversial to some of Twitter, yes Fairy is a gay slur. Fun part is for those doubting me, I m at the NIKE LGBT Sports Summit so I just took a survey of 30 gay athletes and they agree. That said, it isn t always commonly known and I genuinely believe Evander didn t know the implications for gay people.
I know for a fact Evander wrote his own apology (not always true of these apologies) and wants to make amends for his mistake. Back in April, the National Hockey League became the first major professional team sport in the US to announce a formal partnership with You Can Play. Earlier this week, Burke announced that You Can Play will team up with Major League Soccer, and the MLS Players Union, in order to provide training, education to teams, staff, management and players.

Church of England to ask gay clergy about their sex life as part of bishop selection process
But it adds: Before a priest in a civil partnership can be considered for Episcopal nomination the archbishop of the province in which he is serving will wish to satisfy himself, following discussions between the diocesan bishop and the clergyman concerned, that his life is, and will remain, consistent with the teaching of the Church of England. As explained in the Archbishops guidelines, these assurances will be sought before a candidate comes to be considered for nomination to a diocesan or suffragan see. Last month, Church of England officials denied the Dean of St Albans, Dr Jeffery John, England s most senior openly gay Anglican, was being lined up to become the Bishop of Durham, a role vacated by the appointment of Justin Welby as Archbishop of Canterbury.
Dr John, who supports equal marriage, was twice in line to become a bishop in recent years but his appointment was blocked because of opposition from conservatives within the Church. Speaking to the H ouse of Commons Public Bills Committee in February, to give evidence in favour of equal marriage, Dr John said he thought it would be more Christian to allow individual parishes to make up their own minds on the issue. In an Out4Marriage video last year, he said the Church doesn t deserve to be listened to when it comes to its same-sex marriage opposition.

Equal marriage bill amendment calls for decision to be made in 2015 referendum
Should the law be changed to define marriage as the union of two people whether a man and a woman, or woman and a woman, or a man and a man? . The amendment states that, even if the bill is passed at all stages, it would not be able to come into effect until a majority of voters at the referendum vote in its favour. It reads: The Secretary of State may not bring any part of this Act into force unless the referendum provided for at section (Referendum provisions) delivers an affirmative outcome.
All three of the peers who tabled this amendment voted in favour of a Lord Dear amendment, which was not approved, yet which would have stopped the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill from being given a second reading. The Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill comes back in committee the week commencing 17 June. It will have its report stage on 8 July and third reading on 15 July.
Ministers are hoping that the bill will have Royal Assent before summer recess, at the end of July. Another amendment tabled by Lord Mackay of Clashfern, would allow straight couples to enter into civil partnerships, amidst fears that such an amendment could wreck the bill. Former Archbishop of Canterbury, Lord Carey, has also tabled a bill which could wreck the equal marriage bill for England and Wales, by suggesting that there be two tiers of marriage.
Equal marriage critic Lord Dear has proposed another, similar amendment to the Marriage (Same Sex Couples Bill), protecting those who believe marriage is the union of one man and one woman for life to the exclusion of all others.
Out4Marriage has launched the LobbyALord website in order to make it easy for members of the public to lobby Peers on the issue.
