WATCH: One Direction Boys Shower, Show Skin for Charity

WATCH: One Direction Boys Shower, Show Skin for Charity Those cheeky One Direction boys are at it again! While touring, the British quintet made their own video for their new charity single One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks)" a mashup of Blondie's "One Way or Another" and Teenage Kicks by The Undertones to raise money for Comic Relief and awareness for the organization s Red Nose Day . Just as we imagined, Zayn Malik looks adorable when he wakes up, but Dustin Hoffman-kisser Niall Horan easily steals the show while flouncing around Africa in a skimpy tank top, taking a bubble bath, and showering in full view of bandmate Liam Payne!

And we thought their "Kiss You" video was bromantic...

Check it out below and gifs of the two shirtless moments you won't soon forget. Continue reading

Banks by producing the informative rap Love, Don t Hate, which schools the hip hop artist on the reasons why she should reconsider her use of hate speech .

5 Awesome Current Artists Who Need Grammy Awards

The Grammys are this Sunday, which is exciting for award show fans and depressing for people who think those awards should go to the right people. Sigh. Here are five current artists still in need of official Grammy love.

5. Scissor Sisters (source) Since the Scissor Sisters emerged a decade ago, their style has remained as quirky and danceable as anything Lady Gaga 's ever produced, yet the Grammys haven't been as keen to reward the ragtag group with their due props. They've only been nominated once in the Best Dance Recording category, where the group's take on "Comfortably Numb" lost to Britney Spears' sole moment of brilliance, "Toxic." Where's the love for "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'"?

Or this year's wickedly saucy "Let's Have a Kiki"?

4. Adam Lambert (source) Get this: Zero male American Idol contestants have a Grammy to their name. Nope, not even Kevin Covais .

Adam Lambert earned a nomination for "Whataya Want From Me?" last year (and lost to Bruno Mars in the Best Male Pop Vocal Performance category), but if anyone deserves multiple Grammys from the past five seasons of Idol, it's Lambert. Surely his latest album Trespassing is his best work to date, and if you can't even earn a Grammy nomination for notching a #1 album as a self-defined gay artist with a distinct pop sound and an otherworldly voice, maybe it's time for Grammy voters to revise their rubric.

3. Tori Amos (source) Tori Amos is not only an accomplished songwriter who has released an unreal amount of material; she's also one of the most confessional and ambitious singer/songwriters of the past 20 years.

Who else combines the eerie vulnerability of Laura Nyro with the beguiling angelic feminity of Kate Bush ?

This is a woman who had the nerve to organize a greatest hits package using the Dewey Decimal System (please see Tales of a Librarian for proof), and if the woman who's given us everything from "Silent All These Years" to "A Sorta Fairytale" doesn't have a Grammy, then what are we doing not protesting the fact that Sheryl Crow has nine? The deal will be finalized once Britney s team decides on the casino. The pop star has been in negotiations for several months to set up shop in Las Vegas. Rudolph said, We are in deep negotiations and I'd be shocked if it didn't happen.

The xx’s ‘Last Christmas’ Cover Is Perfect for Making Out, Crying

The xx's 'Last Christmas' Cover Is Perfect for Making Out, Crying In 1984, George Michael's band Wham! gave the world a gift when the released "Last Christmas." Finally, a song to let us ruminate on our holiday heartbreak instead of continually forcing us to smile through a season of force-fed carols and cheer. But now, 28 years later, the brooding English band The xx have given the song a down-tempo tweak that transforms "Last Christmas" into the perfect tune for making out or gently crying into your pillow...

or both, if you're into emotionally manipulative sex and let's face it, who isn't? What better way to celebrate and incriminate your winter-time lover than to fool around while playing a popular breakup song? And the song also makes great background music for your Christmas Kiki, when all that you and your friends want for Christmas is for the New Year to begin...

and to numb yourself with non-stop candy cane cocktails.

Anyway, take a listen to the tune below.

It'll make you feel cool, if not a tinge nostalgic for when George Michael used to dress up in santa suits and ride his band members like reindeer. Continue reading

OVERLOOKED: These Gay Heavy Metal Rockers Will Melt Your Face Off

OVERLOOKED: These Gay Heavy Metal Rockers Will Melt Your Face Off The hip-hop and R&B world seemed amazed when accomplished singer-songwriter Frank Ocean came out of the closet earlier this year. But as Out explains , a bunch of hard rock and heavy metal artists came out this year too: Along with the hip-hop and R&B artists who ve come out this year, 2012 has seen more queer musicians release hard rock and metal records than any year in recent history, to great reception by metal heads and music critics. Meanwhile, lead singers in punk and metal bands like Against Me!

and Life of Agony have announced that they re transitioning genders. Performers thumbing their noses at hard rock s hyper-hetero traditions include everyone from Gaahl and vocalist-guitarist Steve Brooks of the sludge-metal band Torche to drummer Daniel Pitout of grungy punks N Sensae and singer Jason Rivera of the metal ragers Gaytheist. We'd never heard of any of these fellas, but Out was nice enough to put together a small slideshow with links to each band's page and a recommended track.

We've also listened to a hardcore duo called Gay Witch Abortion , but we're still trying to figure out if either of their members is actually gay. Maybe they're just witches, which would still be badass. Below is an early track from Gaytheist.

It might hurt your Coldplay-accustomed ears at first, but take a listen it'll eventually give you the encouragement to thrash and throw shit around like you've always wanted to. Continue reading
